Listen to Gadehavet here

Take a moment.
Stand still, or sit down.
Put your headphones on.
Listen as you
watch the street,
the people,
the movement
You are in the middle of Gadehavet.

Gadehavet

Gadehavet is an interdisciplinary work combining photography, sound and text.

The work consists of photographs taken on the Indian Ocean from a wind turbine platform during my work at sea. The photographs explore movement, waves, currents and the connection between the human body and bodily experiences shaped through encounters with the ocean.

In Gadehavet, sound, poetic notes and voices from people whose lives have been shaped by the sea merge into a shared sensory space. Through the QR code on the work, the viewer can enter the soundscape where ocean, city and human streams of movement flow together.
